However, rust and corrosion, worn-out or inoperable parts may dictate the replacement of a backflow device. We do repairs and maintenance on all backflow devices. Based on our years of experience, we have identified models that have proven to be superior and more reliable. If a device needs to be replaced, we will provide you with an estimate and time frame to complete the replacement.
Typically, a backflow device should be completely rebuilt every 5 years. Replacement would be dependent upon device integrity. Factors which would affect the integrity can include corrosion and internal wear to parts. In the event that a replacement is needed, we will make a recommendation based on your industry and application to ensure compliance in the most cost-effective manner. Additionally, any new regulations and compliance standards will be followed. However, we understand the cost of replacement may not fit your budget and repairing, if possible, would be the alternate choice.
